Paint Protection Film

Paint Protection Film, or PPF, is a thick film that comes in a variety of finishes. These are fitted to surfaces and their contours. A usual PPF pack is plotted with a Graphtec FC9000. This means that your vehicle is searched upon a subscription-based software, a pattern is then ready for download, positioned on the cutting board, and printed with CNC precision. It is here that experience and, more importantly, patience play a role in successfully installing paint protection film.

What are we protecting? PPF will stop swirl marks completely. With its built-in self-healing abilities, this means the depth and clarity of paintwork are always in pristine condition, especially when paired with a ceramic coating. Rock chips are kept at bay, as well as mild abrasions and scratches.

Here at Thomas Mayer Automotive Detailing, every single piece of PPF is customized to suit the client’s needs.

Headlights, sideskirts, boot entries, front-end packages, temporary track packs, and full bulk-fitted boutique coverage—no matter the vehicle, it isn’t beneath us to protect it.

Photographing PPF is rather difficult; the edge of a panel with full coverage is nice to see, but it doesn't fully convey the quality of the film nor the gloss it provides. The below gallery will always be changing with better media.
